Microsoft Warns SEC of Open-Source Threat

Microsoft Corp. may in the future be forced to lower its software prices as a result of the growth of open source, the company cautioned in its latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

This is terrible news. If open-source software continues it's advancement in the markets it may cause Microsoft to sell software at prices that are reasonable and affordable. Can we stand another market collapse? Aren't overinflated, underregulated companies sodomizing the customer what keeps this economy going?
