Why are gas prices so high?
After an intense investigation we here at Muddy's Mind have found out why gas prices are so high.
The Oil Companies are related to the James gang, and this is their 21st centuary style hold up. Raping the American public with riduclasly high fuel prices. I think it's sad how the American & British Oil companies use anything, and I mean anything to raise prices. For example the strike in Venezuela caused our prices to shoot up 20-25% in one day and we find out that we import more crude oil from Canada and Saudi Arabia than Venezuela. Only 13% of the cude oil import into the U.S. in 2001 was from Venezuela and if you figure in the total amount of crude oil we drilled ourselves it's only 8% in 2001.
Sad ain't it?
Why are the oil companies getting away with this
the New York black out the oil companies wrote off there losses we paid the price there gain
all ready the oil companies have paid $3.8 million
on the presidential election. they are getting there money back from us but noone will stop them

Assuming what you say is true, it seems to me that it is the peoples fault, for paying these, as you put it rediculous prices, why not just stop and think, if one person out of 1000 refused to pay, then the COUNTRIES CONTROLERS, will stop and think also. Its the people, the ordinary people, that are made to pay. But eh! Its good for the economy, how sad is that.

You mean at the pump? Refusing to pay for your gas then driving off into the sunset would be stealing. It's not worth having charges pressed against you. And besides, if enough people started doing that anyway to take some sort of a "stand" then that would just cause your local gas prices to go up even more. Gas stations have to pay their share too. You steal it from them....they'll just make your neighbors pay more of the bill.
Or perhapes I'm just misunderstanding what you're saying period?
