US Army Making Headway in Iraq; Kills Senior Fedayeen Officer

The US Army - which I routinely criticize for its inffeciencies and deficiencies - has been taking cues from the Marine Corps' way of doing things and has been taking care of business of late in Iraq. The latest today being the raid on the home of a Saddam Fedayeen colonel.

Nice and offtopic there. Aside from that, conspiracy theories are usually rather silly. As I have said before, someone ALWAYS benifits from war.

I realize it's off topic, but I'm unable to post a new topic.

What conspiracy are you talking about?

I simply posted news articles.

Conspiracy: that bush started a war to benifit his and cheney's "friends" which is not to mention that the article you posted refers to haliburton's overcharge in Iraq which bush has ordered them to payback.

Your post is offtopic.

You provided me the conspiracy from the sources of news.

Do you recognize anything significant about that?

Delete it if you want to. It's a private site and open to censurship.

Regardless of what the theories are, the facts remain are inarguable.

There are huge profits being made.
There is inaccurate accounting.
There are still no weapons of mass destruction found.
There are still US soldiers and citizens dying every day.
Bush continues to go on vacation.
Cheney continues to go on vacation.

Does that seem fair?

Correct me if I am wrong, please...or simply delete this off topic.

There are tons of facts. Including:

In every known war there have been people have have died.
Freedom is not free. Even in your confortable world.
Some people complain yet do nothing to improve anything.
Some people only look to one source for news and are therefore mislead.
Some people only believe what they want to.

You are not wrong but you include only the facts that point in a direction that you dont seem to want to come right out and say. If you have a point please dont hide behind someone else's words. Please come right out and say it. I can point you to hundreds of article that say what I want them to say. You can and often do the same. That gets us nowhere. There are people on both sides of this and they write articles all the time.

If you have a point, come right out and say it. Linking to some left wing news source does nothing to prove your point. However anti-war, anti-Bush and anti-American your point may be.

Remember, if it wasn't something you wanted to believe, then it wouldn't be good propaganda.

Look up Fascism. Or is the dictionary liberal left wing bullshit.

First off, posting news article addresses is a little on the side of lazy.

Second, fascism (for those of us who have actually studied political science and history on some level such as a person seeking a minor or a degree in history - me) is similar to communism except ont he opposite end of the spectrum. In communism, industry is controlled by, and owned by the government, in fascism, industry is owned by private individuals and controlled by the government. Such an action has been encouraged by many well known socialists such as Hillary Clinton. Both political beliefs stem from Karl Marx' socialism. Both are commonly mistaken for the other.

To extend cwilli: people always make money from war, the leaders always take vacations, they can do that. People like me volunteer knowing we could die in battle. It's part of our job. WMD not found? Well, if Saddam did something to thems imilar to what he did to his air force, then I'm not surprise (half his airforce was buried in the sand, the other half was flown to Syria.)

Watch your language on this site.

The conspiracy that I provided is only provided because it was the obvious one you were pointing at, and I've heard that overand over again. Go look at the company who profitted from world war 2. Don't be surprised if your job exists because of ww2. I know that every job I've ever held existed because of it. Someone always profits from a war, that's a fact, so get over it.
