There are many Bush haters who frequent this board. Some of you don’t even know why you hate him. My personal belief is that some of them are simply mindlessly echoing what they hear from the left wing news sources that they surround themselves with. But that’s just my opinion.
Not too long ago I asked a friend of mine why he hated Bush so much. The only thing he told me was the Kyoto Protocol and how Bush opposes it. Not knowing much about the Protocol I went ahead and did some research hoping that I could see his point of view. Well I didn’t.
So armed with this new information I set out to find out why he was in favor of the US backing the protocol when it obviously was setup to make the capitalist pigs pay dearly for being a developed nations while other nations would be exempt even though they did as much if not more polluting than we do. These exempt nations would be given credits for being underdeveloped and most likely some of the penalty money from us to help them develop themselves.
Honestly I must admit I was looking for a debate. What I got was less than an excuse: “Well it looks like you are more informed than I am on the subject”.
That was it. The number one reason they gave for hating Bush and they obviously didn’t have a single fact to back this position. Now to be fair I also know that this person also is against the Iraqi war. So I would have to assume that this is another reason they could have given.
Now in the interest of coming off like I am a huge Bush fan, let’s me come right out and say that I am not. There are many things that Bush has done that I have not agreed with. For one, I don’t think that this new medical plan is going to solve the problems that we have with our medical system. No, I think stopping frivolous lawsuits against our Doctors would be a good start. Maybe find a way to lower the cost of prescriptions. Anything but yet another government program. Also I didn’t agree with his plan to allow immigrants to become citizens if they can get away with breaking the law for 3 years. That sounds like more of a carrot than anything. Not to mention that I am paying for their free health care during this 3-year period.
This is not the point of my post and if you have made it this far into it you are probably wondering what the point is. Rightly so.
My point is that you I am tired of people who just hate something just for the sake of hating it. People who offer no real solution to any problem and are quite content to just complain. The worst are the one who are really bitter about the Government, the President or any authority even though they basically have it pretty easy in their own lives. They take advantage of every offering of this great country, complain about it non-stop and don’t feel a bit guilty that they take it for granted. In fact it seems that they are happier to complain. Well maybe I just came upon the answer.
Well just a note to you Bush haters out there. If your number one reason for hating him is because of the Iraqi war and you are hoping that one of the democratic candidates is the answer. Well good luck. Also you may want to do some research because as it turns out even though some of them are saying they are against the war. If you look back you will find that some of them actually voted to remove Hussein by force under the previous administration. Yea but you wont see that news on your left wing news sources.
Here is a good article about the real beginning of the plans for the Iraqi war.

I've not looked for them thoroughly but I can't find them...
And uh ... I may have exagerated my stance against bush... I am very counscious that he commited less crime than Saddam and others ... But he still is responsible for more death toll and more endangering of the planet and the human species...
One last fact : US heating gaz emission per inhabitant is 25 times the one of any chinese...
(and not 100 as I had written)
So Kyoto protocol can be summed up like this.
There's a building. (It's the earth). And a fire. (global warming). Here come the firemen. They need to use water... (reduce gaz emissions)
Problem is all the inhabitants are currently using all the water available to cleanse, wash themself, drink, water their decorating plants...
There's one floor with 25 inhabitants (this is USA), they use 2500 cubic meter of water for them self. There's a floor with 150 chinese they use 600 cubic meters.
The firemen come up to those who use the 2500 cubic meter first (they need to act fast because as you may well know the sooner you fight the fire, the easier it is). And they ask to reduce water consumption.
NO WAY they say (cwilli and bush are shouting). We won't reduce unless the 100 yellow downthere reduce also ...
But there s a fire ...
don't care
But you use 25 time more
don't care
But you re the one showing the bad example, the wrong way
don't care ...
And there you have tricky willy, he comes up with this plan, Ok, we'll reduce (stabilise for a start), but let's make a deal, those chinese have very poor watering system for their plants, so if we improve them, please allow us to use the amount of water spared this way for our usage.
THIS IS CALLED THE KYOTO PROTOCOL
Well you know what Bush and cwilli said.
NO WAY.
So we only have to wait until the flames come burn the asses of those people and they begin to realise that something has to be done, whatever the cost, and whatever the others are doing.
If someone is stealing in a store, and not punished do you feel you have a right to steal ?
