Typical Ohio Weather

snowagain.png
Well it happened again, it was a great day yesterday jeans and a t-shirt. Today a few fresh inches of the white stuff and we're back to coats and hats. We have a saying around these parts. If you don't like the weather wait a few hours it'll change.
As for the sniper they are now hunting for... his last name is McCoy. I find it a bit Ironic myself. In case your interested here is a story (one of many) about the guy they are now hunting for.

*Update* Well on the way to work I noticed that the snow started again, the road was wet but clear, that is for the first mile or so. Then the snow became thick as fog, visibility was reduced to about fifty yards. I do enjoy a good hard snow myself as it rids the road of bad drivers. I witnessed about a dozen off to the side of the road standing about their vehicles wondering how they are going to get out of the drifts. At least my evening drive home will be exciting. :-)

"If you don't like the weather wait a few hours it'll change."

Actually - more accurately - I think it's "if you don't like the weather in Columbus, stick around five minutes.". But, I think they probably have that saying every where you go, huh? :-)

I actually got caught with my sunroof up. When I got out this morning I seen that it was both snowing and melting at the same time!.

Only in Ohio.....

You left your sunroof up!?

Yuck! :-)

So was it snowing and melting in your car as well?

Posted by: mrs. muddy at March 16, 2004 06:02 PM

Yea.

Well I must say my wife told me that we would get a few inches of snow. Of course being the typical male I told her that it would not snow. I also told her that she should not put too much faith in the meteorologists.....

She laughed very hard about my sunroof.

"She laughed very hard about my sunroof."

That makes two of us :-D I would type out the normal "LOL" computer lingo but you've probably been through enough laughing today already...so I shall spare you mine.

****mrs. muddy high fives Mrs. cwilli then walks away snickering (though NOT *laughing*!) to herself.....*****

oh wait- muddy- are all houses that spread out over east ?! if so thats insaine- i have neighbors that can hear me take a piss (inside my own house)

Posted by: Kevin at March 25, 2004 04:39 PM

"i have neighbors that can hear me take a piss (inside my own house)"

LMAO!!

No, not ALL houses are spread this far apart....*our* neighborhood just happends to be *generous* in that aspect. As a matter of fact....just down the street from us, there's a neighborhood being built with the houses *so* close together - you could not only hear the person piss next to you in the other house but you could share toilet paper if you run out in mid poop:-D

Ok. Maybe I'm exagerating *some* but NOT much :-)

Kevin: I lived in California for about 6 months, and I saw houses farther apart than the ones in muddy's neighborhood. Mine are farther apart than his in the front of my subdivision, but closer together towards the back. Insane? Methinks not, if someone has the money for the extra land they should be able to have it.

In downtown Atlanta houses are about 3 feet apart in some places, and about like muddy's in others.

Point is, I've been all over this country (but I've never been to canada - haha get it muddy?) and spacing between houses varies. Not necesarilly as a function of income either. In Boston there are some high income areas where the houses are built together like london flats.

it all depends on the builder. Some like M/I homes build so close I could run and jump roof to roof all the way around the neighborhood. (if I had that much stamina)

Posted by: muddy at March 25, 2004 07:25 PM

Muddy: I do have that much stamina. :-)

I should post a picture from the bunkerhill area in boston...you guys don't know what close houses are

"Muddy: I do have that much stamina. :-)"

LOL! Burn!

I don't know...me thinks someone's bragging? :-)

"you guys don't know what close houses are"

Maybe not....but I've seen pictures of houses in San Francisco and *that's* too close for me :-)

Hey, it's San Fran-sissie! What do you expect? It's a city designed by liberals, for liberals.

Posted by: skywalker at March 25, 2004 08:47 PM

San Fran-sissie?

Is that something like "Holly-weird"? :-D

Posted by: mrs. muddy at March 25, 2004 09:32 PM

This is hysterical. Just 10 days ago, muddy took that picture of the snowball in his hand. It was *freeeeeeezing* outside!

Yesterday it was in the 70's (was it 75 ?) - today, it's supposed to reach 73....trust me, I'm NOT complaining about the warmer weather ( I LOVE it) - it's just funny.
