unfortunately 3rd parties are usually only available as choices in presidential elections but I am proud to say I have not given a presidential vote to either of the "2 Parties" nor do I plan to.

Posted by: skywalker at May 24, 2004 07:24 AMi'll have to check him out, i cast a vote for Browne in '96, does Boortz have a website/streaming audio?
Posted by: bennyhill1978 at May 25, 2004 09:23 PMboortz.com, you won't like him though, he doesn't exactly walk the party line on everything.
I like Harry Browne myself, though I don't know who they are nominating this year. Boortz usually speaks at the Libertarian convention.
Posted by: skywalker at May 25, 2004 11:49 PMI find the libertarian party line harder to walk than a dental-floss tightrope but at least they understand the value of the bill of rights.
Posted by: bennyhill1978 at May 26, 2004 01:13 AMExactly. More important than that: they understand personal liberty.
Boortz likes to say something that I tend to agree with: if this country is saved it may not be by that party, but it will be by their principles.
