Oh boy, this day sucked.
I had to speak to the great satan, Micro$oft.
Since part of my job is to call our customers when their circuits crash I had no choice. It was yucky.
Now I need a shower.

Posted by: mrs. muddy at May 23, 2004 05:50 PM*tear* booo hoooooooooo muddy! I can not count the number of times I had to called that place when I was working as a tech, so you get no pity from me.
Posted by: skywalker at May 24, 2004 07:36 AMI deal with them on a near-daily basis. There is something rather evil in that place. In fact, I'm not so sure I ever believed that evil might exist before I began using them.
Wonderful metaphor, by the way.
Posted by: michael at May 25, 2004 06:51 AMI used to have to deal with them alot, not daily...but alot. It is sad with a 12 year old kid knows more than tech support.

Yes...but not *everyone* can be a genius. :-) Then again, I guess there are alot of 12yr. olds who know more about computers than alot of adults and tech support....the way our eldest is headed...well, one never knows. :-)
Posted by: mrs. muddy at May 25, 2004 11:57 AMI guarantee most 6 year olds know more than the average Tech support guy. The best tech support guys i've run into were college guys from tech working 3rd shift at mindspring (before earthlink's merger.)

That does it! Our eldest is going to start earning their keep around here! Job hunting will start immediately!
