Remembering Saddam

How many of you have seen the pictures of the prisoner abuse in Abu Ghraib? How many of you have at least heard of the controversy surrounding Disney’s refusal to release the latest crap produced by Michael Moore? The reason you have probably have heard about this is because the liberal media is using this to fuel their agenda. That is no secret.

But have you heard about the other prison abuse videos that were released from Arab-language news network Al Hurra on Wed May 19th? You know the ones that showed the abuse of Iraqi prisoners at the hands of Saddam?

No? I am not surprised. The reason is simple. The liberal media does not want you to see them. They are sitting on the story because that would not help their agenda. I cannot find the video’s themselves so I can only provide links. Here are 2 good ones on this story:

If that isn’t bad enough have you at least heard about the new documentary from Don North about the Iraqi prisoners? You know the documentary that follows a group of 9 Iraqi males who were jailed because they used American currency? They were sentenced to amputation of their right hands from the word Saddam himself. The amputated hands were shipped to Saddam as his trophies. Then after the coalition liberated Iraq, Don North found 6 of these men and had them flown back to the US and were given prosthetic hands at no cost to these men. All of the money was paid by US businesses and donated time from doctors.

You mean you have not heard about this documentary? How could that be? Oh wait, Of course. That would not fit into the liberal media’s agenda, would it? No the liberal media would rather have you upset that Michael Moore can’t get Disney to release his latest round of lies and propaganda. (Maybe Disney isn’t so bad after all).

I plead with everyone who has seen even one of the Abu Ghraib prison abuse photos to watch this documentary. Here is a link to the entire film and an interview with these men, thanks to The Heritage Foundation.

And finally I have both obtained and watched the Nick Berg video. It was very hard to watch. However I believe that it is important to put things into perspective. If you would like to see it you can download it from my server. It is located here. Beware however that this is very graphic.

Of course the main difference is that no one is expecting any good from saddam like regime. They are no democracy. Everybody knows saddam used torture all the time. So there's no news.
Nobody knew even less had proof that the US army was "destabilizing" prisonners following clear orders from up to secretary of defense ... With some useless deaths in the process.

If Bush had been clear from the start, we'll disrespect genova convention, forget about democracy and the rest ... Then there might have been no news on the abou graib prisons.

And please remember Moore says the truth which is why it hurts corporate media.
(not liberal, the thing does not exist in the usa)

DF:

"Everybody knows saddam used torture all the time. So there's no news."

As well as no care from *your* country...otherwise, you would have done something to try to stop it.

As far as the rest goes...especially the part about:

"And please remember Moore says the truth which is why it hurts corporate media.
(not liberal, the thing does not exist in the usa)"

All I can say is that I was having a pretty crappy day so far....and then I read your comment. Thanks for the "pick-me-up" from the good laugh I got from the crap you spewed in your statement.

:-) Thanks cwilli. Although, I *did* mean everything I said, sometimes it is helpful to have my womanly nature kick in for a little extra attitude.:-)

Moore tells half-truths and produces communist propaganda. To call his "films" truth is BS.
