There was a headline on the Drudge report this morning that I heard second hand and thought you all might enjoy. If you don't laugh, then you either can't speak english, or you have no senseof humor, for which I am sorry.
Anyhow it was "Breast Cancer Rates Down, Broad Survival Rates Up."
Posted by Skywalker at June 3, 2004 08:19 AM | TrackBackThey had one on yahoo that said:
"U.S. cancer deaths down, survival rates up"
That one makes more sense.
As far as the
"Breast Cancer Rates Down, Broad Survival Rates Up."
it probably would have sounded better to say:
"Breast cancer rates down, According to the American cancer society"
OR:
"Breast cancer *deaths* down, broad survival rates up."
It's all in the wording, I guess.

I am glad to see that broads are living longer.....

AHHHH!!!! It's all *so* clear to me now....*now* I see how your mind works. Must be a Marine thing.:-P
Besides, does anyone even *use* the term "broad" anymore......
*ring, ring*...."uh, hello?" **mrs. muddy yells out to cwilli and skywalker**: Uh, guys....the 20th century *just* called - they want their term back.:-P
Posted by: mrs. muddy at June 3, 2004 09:11 PMNot when broads are around.

haha...SSSooooo, it's all done in "secret" conversation, eh? I always wondered how you men refered to us women when we're not around.:-)
Well, *obviously* I have to tease you guys to *some* extent...after all, it would ruin my reputation if I didn't. However, I have to say...I must be a part of a dying breed of women because not only don't I mind "broad" but *I* sometimes refer to *myself* as a "chick". Of course, the older I become, the more the term "chick" will become somewhat wishful thinking on my part.:-/

Posted by: mrs. muddy at June 3, 2004 11:20 PMThe website is screwing up and doing it for me. And yeah, we still call women broads. :-)
