Michael Moore Hates America

A young filmaker takes on Michael Moore in a new documentary that will be released at the same time as F911. The documentary is about how easy it is to distort the truth and basically outright lie in a documentary.

The most ironic part is; Michael Moore refuses to be interviewed! I will HAVE to see this film.

The trailers are pretty good. I especially like how they keep showing this guy who has nothing but wonderfull and nice things to say about Michael Moore. How smart he is and how he says what needs to be said. Then it shows how this guys name is actually Michael Moore and he was talking about himself the entire time. Its a perfect example of the mis-direction that is common in Michael Moore's crap.

You can find it in the 'old' trailer on the website.

I've actually heard of this guy...sounds interresting. Unfortunately, I can't get the trailers to play right now so I'll have to view them later.

I'm glad SOMEONE finally decided to do it. HAving seen most of Bowling for Columbine (I had a hard time stomaching him...) I have to say that he's a pathological liar.

Speaking of Bowling for Columbine here is a website that shows the real truth behind every myth that Michael Moore tried to spread in that movie;

"Speaking of Bowling for Columbine here is a website that shows the real truth"

First thing on the website:

"He blamed 9-11 attacks on too many White people and not enough Black men on the planes."

ugh, you call this truth? i saw the movie and no where does it say that.

Posted by: mooseboy84 at June 16, 2004 06:16 PM

I don't remember that from the movie either. I do remember him distorting the truth alot however.

Posted by: skywalker at June 16, 2004 06:48 PM

I dont recall him saying that in the movie (because I would never watch that crap) but according to Yasmin Alibhai-Brown of The Independent (UK) HE MOST CERTAINLY DID say that.

It can be found here:
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=30367

and here:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,74883,00.html

and here:

http://www.obv.org.uk/reports/2003/rpt20030106e.htm

Let me paraphrase:
Columnist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown of The Independent (UK), wrote, "I took my son to see Michael Moore live at the Roundhouse, in North London, before Christmas. The U.S. radical and author of the best-selling book 'Stupid White Men' was (mostly) clever, funny, angry, sharp, iconoclastic and skeptical about the lies and humbug processed by the U.S. government and big business . . . What we did not expect was to feel so enraged at one point that we almost walked out. It was when Moore went into a rant about how the passengers on the planes on 11 September were scaredy-cats because they were mostly white. If the passengers had included black men, he claimed, those killers, with their puny bodies and unimpressive small knives, would have been crushed by the dudes, who as we all know take no disrespect from anybody . . . "

So yes I would call that truth.

And here is Michael Moore telling about how he would be willing to sneek a 15 year old into an R rated movie.

you talk about truth, yet you claim something he said in the movie was not there. he said that in one of his Live shows. not in the movie.

and sneak a 15 year old in the movie. LOL. you see the crap on cable TV nowadays?

have you watched HBO after 8pm? besides, 15 year olds go to movies all the time. whats the big deal?

Posted by: mooseboy84 at June 18, 2004 07:21 AM

Oh I see. You expect absolute truth from a website and hold me personally responsible for every technicality. Yet, when it comes to Michael Moore your obviously willing to accept his half-truths. (and pointing out that it didnít come from the movie IS a technicality. Your just mad because you said it wasnít true, didnít do any research, and I proved you WRONG).

That makes you a hypocrite. Next time do your homework.

The point is: HE SAID IT. I donít care when. I donít care where. HE SAID IT.

And anyone who would say that 9/11 would have never happened if there were more black people on the plane is obviously a complete idiot.

I pointed out a website that dispels the myths about his movie. You find something that was not in the movie, but was still true, and you claim I said it was in the movie.

When did I say it was in the movie? I said ďshows the real truth behind every myth that Michael Moore tried to spread in that movieĒ I didnít say ďI promise that everything on that website comes directly from the movie and does not deviate in any way, shape or formĒ

Besides, once again, HE SAID IT. So it WAS true.

But I guess thatís just a technicality your not willing to accept, huh.

Hey mooseboy, i went and saw R rated flicks with I was 13. My parents knew and were not to upset as long as I told them what the movie was ahead of time. The problem is that Michael Moore is circumventing parents, which verges on illegal, is most certainly unethical and I'm pretty sure is immoral.

Posted by: skywalker at June 18, 2004 02:09 PM

Things like 'ethical', 'immoral' and 'truth' have not meaning in the minds of Michael Moore fans unless it helps them argue their cause. It is obvious to me that none of them do any research on what Michael Moore spouts (like mooseboy84 didnt) otherwise they would not be Michael Moore fans.

Its that simple.

I dont hold much hope for this film-it has been tried already and flopped-AMERICAS HEART AND SOUL was supposed to be the Right's answer to FAHRENHEIT 911-similar in vein to MMHA-and despite Disneys marketing muscle-the film went unnoticed and sank like a stone after just 3 weeks-making a paltry $135,000.
I just dont think people care about our position-look at F911-it made $25 million opening weekend and is still playing across the country, approaching $150 Million.
People vote with their dollars-and for a film of this nature to make that much says something-and we are partly to blame-we raised such a fuss about the film that even Moore gleefully thanked us for the free publicity.
You can bet few liberals will make a fuss over this film-it will pass quietly in the night;
Everyone got their cyanide pill handy for Nov 3rd?

I saw F911...I saw it for free but none the less. America's Haart and Soul however, I didn't even hear about! I'd say it's less to dow tih what people want to hear and more to do with marketing.

Posted by: skywalker at September 6, 2004 04:38 PM

I did see America's heart and soul and thought it was a great movie. In fact my entire family enjoyed it. (Not to mention we seen it in a very small, family owned, theatre) I donít, however, recall anyone saying that this film was the "Right's answer to FAHRENHEIT 911" because anyone who did see it would knows that was not the point of the movie.

What was meant was that it was a REAL documentary about REAL America. Not a pack of lies based on the half-truths. America's heart and soul had NO political agenda whatsoever. It was about average American's doing extraordinary things in their everyday lives. Nothing more. Things that you will find in this great country if people would actually turn off the TV and go outside and talk to their neighbors every now and then.

But thatís the point. People would rather watch a hate filled movie packed with lies so that they can take whatever hate they are feeling in their own lives and target it somewhere for 2 hours. We need someone to blame after allÖ

Thatís what the Democratic Party is all about right now; someone to blame. Youíre not making enough money? That Bushís fault. Youíre worried about your health care? Thatís because Bush didnít do enough. Youíre worried because other countries donít like us. Thatís Bushís fault too. That is the EXACT playbook they have used for years. You can actually rewind time and go back to past elections and see the EXACT same statements. Every time the Democrats donít have a leg to stand on they can always count on being able to scare Americans in voting for them. (Those evil Republicans want to take food right from your baby's mouth and give it right to the rich!!! They want you to be poor that way you need them and will keep working like happy little drones saying 'yes sir!')

Thatís how these two movies so closely parallel the two parties. F911 was a movie about blame and fear. Just like the Democratic Party. Americaís heart and soul was about regular Americans doing great things ON THEIR OWN (that means without the Governments help because believe it or not it can actually be done!).

So which one will prevail on Nov 3rd? Well I believe that America will pay 8 bucks to watch a movie filled with hate and blame. Everybody needs their escape. I donít believe Americans will actually vote to live it. So I am not worried about the coming election. I think it is not even going to be close.

BTW did I mention that I think I may be a libertarian?
