Bin Laden Brother Disputes Moore Film

PARIS - A half-brother of Osama bin Laden says he enjoyed most of Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," except for what he called "inaccuracies" about his family.

"It's a moving film," Yeslam Binladin, a Geneva-based tycoon and one of the al-Qaida leader's 54 siblings, said in an interview with the French magazine VSD.

Very good reading. It's amazing how much is out there to refute F911, yet the "believers" of moore do not want to see the truth. Only the truth can set you free. :-)

and yet they *still* call it a documentary.

what else is it if its not a documentary? there are no actors, its not "scrpited" in the conventional since. how would you define the "movie" he made. maybe you can come up with a new category.

and as far as "binladin's" brother. of course he is going to try and distance himself from a murdering terrorist.

"That's false and can be verified by anyone," ..."They benefited from no exceptional authorization to leave American territory."

oh is that true? so then why WERE they allowed to fly when no one else could. first i heard this spinned as saying moore said "bush" let them fly. [which was innaccurate.] people that try to moore then said it was the cabinet member [name escapes me, he wrote a book about bush] that authrorized the flights. which very well may be true. i dont know who authorized them to fly, but someone did and they left this country when the airspace was closed. so how is this a lie about moores movie?

the fact is saudis and members of the BIN LADIN family flew out of this country when no others could. now how is that a lie about michael moores film?

heres a great quote:

"The movie also states that several family members attended a 2001 wedding of one of Osama bin Laden's sons in Afghanistan (news - web sites) — a claim Binladin says is exaggerated."

exxagerated? its either true or false. either they attended the wedding or they didnt. give me a break.

Ever heard the term propaganda film? That's a better category for it. A documentary documents facts. This movie did that...with a lot of lies and half-truths and distortions thrown in.

IT was Richard Clarke who arranged the flight, but the movie did say Bush allowed it. And btw, it's not true. They were not allowed to fly until commercial flights resumed.

Oh btw, the term exaggerated is not a quote from Binladin, it's what the reporter said, and reporters are known to choose words that don't exactly dignify the original statement. Case in point:
A marine returns from Iraq, reporter asks him how he feels to be home. MArine says "It is so great to be home and to be with my family again!" REporter's story says: "This Marine made it clear that he is angry about his seperation from his family, and feels it was an unnecessary task."

Yes, I actually saw that happen.
