I guess to me whether or not the ads on either side are lies or truth is not important. (as it's advertising, which is inherently b.s.) but the fact that Bush called for an end to ALL outside the party advertising and Kerry only wants the one ad that hurts him stopped. Kinda typical of all for me none for you liberals. (although a surprising stance for Bush acting fair and all)

Actually, I think they're both wrong. Free speech, you should be able to put any ad you want out and anyone should be able to do it. If they are putting out lies, sue them for libel or slander and win. That's the big problem I had with the McCain Feingold so-called campaign finance reform act. It didn't really reform anything, just limited free speech.

And if these guys are lying, most of what they're saying would be pretty easy to disprove by simply releasing his medical, dental records and his SRB. He probably has a copy of them. Heck, I'm still in and I keep my own copies (had my medical records lost more than once as it is and I'm sick of getting mmr and Td shots.)

as far as kerry and his war record, there may be some inaccuracies. but to say he wasnt under fire when he recieved his medals is a flat out lie.

COL hackworth is the most decorated soldier in us history. though he has alot of medals, it was even proven that he had lied about some of the battles he was in, and being airborne when he wasnt etc.

i think this all boils down to kerry being in vietnam and bush not. karl rove and the attack dogs he set loose have alot of hubris to try and go after kerry for what he did or didnt do in vietnam. if he threw away his "medals" or ribbons or whatever the non issues they use to distract people. when it comes down to it, bushs records for the national guard were unfortunatley "destroyed" on micro film for the time he was missing in 71, convient aint it? and these people want to go after a man who was being shot at in vietnam. whether there was full out battle or not, shurb and his cronies have ALOT of nerve going after him like that.

Riddle me this, several boats and officers their...all submitted after actionr eports which are supposed to report on things such as enemy contact, and only Kerry's report claimed to have encountered enemy fire? In fact Kerry says they were experiencing a 3 km corridor of fire from both sides of the river, yet not one man was hit? The odds of that are astronomical.
