I'm sick and tired of the attacks on the so-called "527" groups. If they want to say something, that is their right under our constitution. McCain Feingold prevents certain people and groups from running ads mentioning the names of a candidate 60 day prior to an election. How the heck is that reforming campaign funding? That's what the bill supposedly did, but I don't see it.
It is all a huge attack on Free Speech and the ACLU should be up in arms about it. Especially since this is just just the type of speech the government wanted protected: political speech.
Okay, now back to your regularly scheduled aarguing, web browsing and whatever else the people who read this site do.
