Men save signs for Bush in stakeout

According to two Mercer Island men, signs supporting President Bush are an endangered species. Within days of going up in the affluent neighborhood, the signs disappear.

So there the men were this week, camped in the dark woods with lawn chairs and a video camera, waiting for the thieves to strike.

It only took three hours. At about 10 p.m. Tuesday, a 25-year-old Mercer Island man walked to a grassy area along the 6700 block of Island Crest Way and began to pull up Bush signs installed by the two men, police said.

Full Story @The Seattle Times

It's not really this story but the continuous stream of stories like this of the rage and hatred that liberals display over and over again. The "peace" people who claim to hate war and such are the first ones to fight, scream and become enraged. Funny how that works.

Ok...can they all (and I mean *both* sides) stop acting like children and juvenile delinquents for just *one* day?

I have about an 18 mile drive to work, and each day i find myself taking an unofficial poll as i make my way. I count the Bush signs and the Kerry signs and put the same amount of credence into my results as I do in the MSNBC web-site results(none). When i first started this excersize, in the 2000 Bush-Bore race, it was typical Maine, with Gore usually outnumbering Bush 5-3 or thereabouts. This year however i am amazed to find that the lead has flip flopped to Bush's favor. My count never comes out the same, but so far, Bush has won every day. I am not against campaign signs nor do I wish to tear down the ones i disagree with, but I am against certain bumper stickers I have seen that are demeaning and crude and vulgar. For example, one sticker i saw recently had President Bush's name with the BUSH seperated like BU SH and added a few letters to make it colorful and "creative???" I think that type of thing is disgusting and sheds alot of light on how this country, and it's people, think and act. (spoiled anyone?) Extremists have no place in the democratic process, in my humble opinion.

I recently seen an article that had a Bush bumper sticker that had been keyed. The caption read

"A person of tolerance and diversity keyed my car"

This article is along that lines. Great post Muddy.
