Laura Bush Has Never Held A "Real Job"

Yes, Teresa can't keep her mouth shut.
First she wanted the children who lost their homes to the recent rash of hurricanes to run naked for a while. Now she, of ALL people accuses the first lady of never having a "real job". I suppose marrying one of the richest men in the world and getting all his cash was a job? I bet it was a snow job since I'm sure Kerry did the same thing to her.
Ah the hard knock life of being filthy rich... I'm sure it's lonely up there. :-P

The more I hear from her the more I get the impression that she thinks shes soooo much better than the rest of us.

I love that to Miss Heinz-Kerry, raising 2 children and being a teacher and librarian is not a real job. She specifically meant raising 2 children. Tell me, how many children did she raise?

"Tell me, how many children did she raise?"

Actually, I think Tressa has a least 2 boys (though, I think she may have 3 ). In the apology she submitted, she did say...

``As someone who has been both a full-time mom and full time in workforce, I know we all have valuable experiences that shape who we are.''

So I think she was *trying* to include full-time motherhood as the real job that it is. However, the thing that cracked me up further was the other comment she made about her being 9yrs older than Laura Bush then she stated:

``I'm older, and my validation of what I do is a little bit bigger - because I'm older, and I've had different experiences. And it's not a criticism of her. It's just, you know, what life is about,''

It would seem (at least in the public eye anyway) that the only thing her age and experiences have taught her is to how to stick her foot in her mouth more effectivly.

Laura Bush didnt raise any children, she shipped them to boarding school, just like Barbara did for the previous generation of Bush's. Perhaps this explains some of GW's severe psychological issues. (inability to accept responsibility, aggressive nature, inability to feel compassion, lust for power and external validation, the need to judge others) Of course these psychotic and antisocial traits all make him more appealing to the Republican party.

Oh and if you actually listen to Theresa and not just read 2 comments that some reporter lifted from context, you might actually hear what she is really saying. She didn't 'accuse the first lady of never having a "real job"' as the synopsis says. There was no accusation, in fact she questioned if Laura had ever had a 'real job' before being 1st lady. Honest question, I for one had never heard that Laura was a librarian (maybe at the GHW Bush library?). Of course 'real job' is a condescending remark, but this is election season after all and she apoligized afterward for being rude. A little rudeness is not so bad in this day and age, I think the first lady should act more like 'Murphy Brown' than 'Donna Reed'.

People like Karen Hughes love to spin a question into an accusation in order to make it appear like the Bush's are 'victims'. This is what led to the current culture we have where asking questions is discouraged and people who ask are made out to be 'the enemy'.

"Laura Bush didnt raise any children, she shipped them to boarding school,"

Well, first of all, just because you send a child off to boarding school does not mean you stop being their parent and partenting them all together. Boarding school, I would think would be a way to teach kids to be responsible and to be more independent. They wouldn't stay there 365 days out of the year either, you know.

Secondly, *I* personally can't find anything on the Bush's sending their twins to boarding school (maybe they did, maybe they didn't...who gives a crap). However, I did find that Kerry sent *his* daughters to boarding school...so would that cheep shot you made now apply to him and his ex-wife? Just curious....

I find people who support a rude, greedy person full of hot air.Lets not forget they have a company overseas and they talk about our jobs goin overseas! I know she got the company by marrying a old rich guy,but she has had it how long? not once has she made a attempt to bring the company back and as for her heart of gold yeah right maybe for herself she wanted children to suffer after hurricanes what kind of people will come in to the office if types like these are elected? at least we know where Bush stands he doesn't say things like I have a plan but never tells plan. I have a few words for Heinz-Kerry (which she took last name only three years ago for political gain) Blah,Blah,Blah I was a swing voter 2 weeks ago but now I will go with the man(President Bush) who will protect us not take our defense missles away!

Not to whizz on your Cocoa Puffs, but the H.J. Heinz Company is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I'll take a pass on the rest of your post.

Based and where the factories are two different things.. however the subject is up for debate whether Teresa has any input into this matter.
