I'm not sure how many of you out there are Rammstein fans, I for one think they rock.
However, that being said I found some Irony today in the music video for the song Amerika off their latest release.
I may be wrong here, as they sing in German and I speak very little German. The impression I get is they are saying the song how "Amerika" is trying to make the world like us. Yet the examples they use are for the most part from other countries. One such example is some African tribesmen sitting around watching tv eating pizza. Then another showing Santa in the desert with some kids on his lap.. yet another import from Europe. The best part being they are playing electric guitars and Metal music.. both American. Ain't Irony grand?
It's also ironic that "Amerika" is one of your favorite songs (if not your favorite song period) off of that album.
But that's just my 2 cents.
