Petition of Mindless Fools

You have to see this, it's the saddest, yet funniest thing I've seen in a while.Petition to Impeach George W. Bush

All these mindless twits signing a petition to impeach dubbah. Oh the waste of good soldiers we have had when these fools would of been much better cover for our guys to shoot from behind.
Hell, the best one in their "list" is the crying about the Patriot Act that both sides wrote, agreed and voted into law!
How about voting out the losers that wrote the bill instead of bitching about the supposed misuse of it by a third party.
If you go on holiday and your kids decide to open up your pool to the public and people at random take dumps in the pool while swimming you don't come home and want to fire the lifeguard when it was your kids who created the situation in the first place? (unless your a mindless tool who signed this petition).
Ok, I'm done venting.

Time that could no doubt be better spent educating American's ont he plight of AIDS in Africa or raising money to educate the people of Africa to prevent the spread. Or maybe volunteering as a Big Brother/Big Sister to an inner city child. Or a gang intervention program. You know, all those things that these same people think the government should do for them.

you know its funny. from what ive read around here, you all at least claim to be christian. i always thought that honesty was very important and one of 10 commandments. i guess that doesnt extend to the president.

the downing street memo shows he was well set on his way to going to iraq, and that he lied to the congress. now im sure you all supported and quite happy that there was a resoultion of inqury for clinton, based on the lewinsky situation that affected no one. yet something thats affecting this entire country happened and you all could care less.

First off, I have doubts about the legitimacy of that memo. Second, the Lewinsky thing was about a president who committed perjury after being sued under a law he signed into law with much fanfare. It may not have affected you, but it certainly affected Paula Jones and it set a precedent: Presidents are indeed above the law in this country. He was also being impeached for illegal possession of over 500 FBI files, Nixon was set to be impeached for possessing just one such file. There was also evidence of some rather shady dealings on the part of him and his wife. But at the time liberals said, this is a waste of money and time, let's all move on, it was just a blow job in the oval office, it's his private life, it doesn't matter. Well fine then.

If Bush committed a crime then he should be impeached. But I've seen no solid evidence that he comitted a crime. In fact, invading Iraq was a conitnuation of 12 years of prior foreign policy. How many times did Clinton threaten to invade Iraq only to back down? A move I supported then also (invasion that is, I was incredibly shocked that he didn't do it.) Leaked memos in my opinion are poor evidence, they are easily disavowed and can be relatively easily forged. No amount of evidence will ever remove 100% reasonable doubt of their legitimacy IMO.

If congress wishes to investigate him, then go ahead. They won't because nothing has come out that he committed a crime. The criteria for impeachment is high crimes and other misdemeanors. Sadly, lying is not one or we'd have no lawmakers, though I have no doubt the founders knew that ahead of time.

But I digress, I'm talking to a cynical anarchist. You're still convinced that the government is a amss conspiracy to rule the world, control our minds to the nth degree and regulate who can and can not have children and it withholding a cure for cancer, aids and the common cold.
