This is why things like this should be left up to the states as the founders originally intended. What a crock, telling dying people they have to die in misery. Good to go feds, hope you all sleep well at night.

It is a crock...however, I'm sure these people will continue their regular routine as they always have - in secrecy. It is just very unfortunate that things didn't turn out in their favor. Maybe one day.
Posted by: mrs. muddy at June 7, 2005 11:17 PMDrug laws in this country have been a DISASTER from the get go. Not to mention they were designed out of xenophobia and an intent to keep Mexicans out of the US. Drug laws and their inevitable end run around the constitution are what has made the insane amounts of government we have in our lives possible - well, that and the income tax.
Posted by: skywalker at June 8, 2005 03:31 AMVery good points above, but dont forget - if we end the war on drugs, the CIA will lose all of its precious income from supplying most of the drugs in the US. The CIA needs that money to buy other governments and pay mercs and assasins.
