If your box starts to lock up at unexplainable times, programs dump for unknown reasons.
Run Memtest86 and do it for more than five minutes like I had at first.
After several weeks of random lockups and programs crashing for no clear reason.
I ran Memtest again last night, and behold after nineteen minutes it started to spew errors like a baby rejecting formula.
I yanked the memory, setup an RMA and pulled memory from another box, now I'm back in business.
Remember kids, if it's random errors and not heat related, it's probably memory.
Thanks to Newegg.com for the online RMA process, worked out good for me, sending back the bad sticks today.
