So there I was, driving around late at night in search of food. My first attempt was Timmy Ho's to get a bowl of veggie soup, of which they had none. Next up was Panzera Pizza, who promptly locked his door and flipped the "closed" sign upon seeing me walk up to the door. (dirtbag) At last I ended up at Stauff's, Columbus's premier coffee roaster/house. Knowing they were also closing I did not hold out hope. I walked into an empty store and asked if they had any coffee left. The wonderful ladies said, they still had some left but could not charge me as they had already closed out their register.I thought I was rejected again, but it was not to be. They told me that they could give me the coffee, so not to pass up on their charity I inquired how much for a muffin, it was free as well.
God works in mysterious ways, and Stauff's rocks!
Vegetable soup? What kind of subversive are you?
