Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday to me
I'm no longer 33....
But I'm still crazy as can be.:-D

Yes, I've decided to sing my own birthday wishes this year. So, pick your poison and raise your glass (just don't stick me with the tab.:-P ) in celebration of my 34th year....or whatever other reason you can conjure up.

BTW...in case *anyone* would like to buy me a present, our garrage would look MUCH better with a dirt bike in it.:-)

Happy birthday.

What kind of woman wants a dirt bike as a present?

You can add that to list of thing skywalker will get, after he sends my $1600.

"What kind of woman wants a dirt bike as a present?"

Well, there were a few other things too....like a gift certificate from one of our local book stores or even for a few women's retailers that at the time sounded a bit too personal (still kind of does but I'll tell you if you'd really like). I'd even love to cruise to the Bahamas (among other places). At the time I posted though, I wanted to try out that dirt bike I've always wanted.

I buy all my books on Amazon.com used. Its much better than getting them in a store, and you can find new ones in good condition.

Ive gotten brand new books for 1 cent. Most books are a bit more than that, but I try to get books that are under 1 dollar. You play $3.50 shipping and handling, but if you can get a book under 3-4 dollar or so its still a great bargin.

I would say about 50% of the "used" books ive purchased are brand new never read. Some of the used ones have so little wear theyre practically new. Im sure you could find any book you want from the store, at a much cheaper price.

I'm big on hardcover books personally and find it difficult to find the ones I want used. On the occassion that I find them on half.com or amazon.com I do pick them up.

"I'm big on hardcover books personally..."

Boy...am *I* having an "interresting" reading day. I first read that sentence as:

"I'm big on hard*core* books...." which led me to chuckle on the "kind" of books you spend your time "reading".:-P

Actually, I prefer hardcover myself for many reasons. One of which - it makes it harder for the little rugrat to do alot of damage to it if I forget to put it up right away.

You can get Hardcover books from amazon. In fact, sometimes theyre alot cheaper then the paperback version. It really just depends on popularity and printing volume of the edition I guess.

On the book page, just click "all editions" and it will show you the hardcover and various pritings.

I realize they sell them, but I can't typically find the ones I want in hardcover. Then, it's been quite a while since I tried, so maybe things have improved.
