Fast Willie Parker set a new Super Bowl record for the longest touchdown run during the Steelers ugly victory over the hapless Seachickens.
Steelers 21 vs. Seahawks 10
Posted by Muddy at February 6, 2006 12:15 AMI guess you should be happy. The Refs gave the game too you. Everytime the Seahawks were in the Redzone, there was always some wish washy penatly that either negated a TD, or backed them up outside of the redzone. There were so many bad calls in the game it wasnt even funny. The league wanted Pitts to win, and the Refs made every concievable play call in favor of the Squeelers.

Your not even a Seachicken fan, why are you crying fowl??

Because he has to attempt to rile you up over *something*.
Posted by: mrs. muddy at February 6, 2006 08:33 AMI'm a fan of neither team, and that was the fairest game, ref wise, that I have ever seen. Any bitching by Seahawks fans can be safely ignored.
Posted by: skywalker at February 6, 2006 12:30 PMIm not a Seahawks fan, but you have to be INSANE if you think that game was in ANY way fair. The refs cheated the Seahawks so many times the game was a JOKE.
"that was the fairest game, ref wise, that I have ever seen."
You really need to stay off drugs man. There is absolutely NO WAY anyone can say that game was reffed in a fair manner. I hope you joking, because there were so many BS calls, or Non calls that went against the Seahawks.
Just look at that TD, that was scored inside the 2 minutes of the first half. The Seahawks WR kicked 1 pylon with his foot, with the other foot he planted in bounds inches from the goaline. He had possesion of the ball all that time, and that Should have been a TD.
It was inside the 2 minute warning, and mysterously was not called up for a review. That was a 199% TD, and it would have given them a 10-7 lead going into halftime.
Again, late in the game when that guy made a catch on the 1 yard line. The score was 10-14 and still close. On that holding call against the Seahawks Center that negated the catch, the STEELERS LB Moved OFFSIDES. IT was so clear the guy was offsides it wasnt even funny, and yet the freaking Seahawks got called for a penalty?
There is no way anyone with an IQ above a banana could belive that game was in Any Way fairly reffed. IT was SOOOO biased against the Seahawks its an outrage. After the Steeler/Colts game Joey Porter said the Refs wanted the Colts to win. There were bad calls in that game back and forth, but than NON INT on Polamou was bad.
In the same manner, the Calls in the SB were 10x worst, all against the Seahawks. The League wanted the Steelers to win, and they made sure of that.
There is no way you can honestly say those calls wernt BS.
Posted by: mooseboy84 at February 6, 2006 05:04 PMIt is a game, humans make mistakes.
Tell me, why on earth would the league want Pittsburgh to win more than Seattle? Seems to me that Seattle winning its first super bowl ever would have been the bigger moneymaker.
Posted by: skywalker at February 10, 2006 01:07 PMSame situation like Patriots last year-League will Pat's win Super Bowl and made it. Realy stupid think that a League made Steelers a winner. That a loosers mind, Siettle good team but after some own and ref's mistakes they loose spirit of game, the Steelers when play against Colts not out from game and fight until final blow and won. That a Champions spirit, not like I see in Seahawks team.
