WASHINGTON – While debates about guest-worker programs for illegal aliens take place in the corridors of power, in the streets of America's big cities no amnesty is being offered by activists calling for the expulsion of most U.S. citizens from their own country.
While politicians debate the fate of some 12 million people residing in the U.S. illegally, the Mexica Movement, one of the organizers of the mass protest in Los Angeles this week, has already decided it is the "non-indigenous," white, English-speaking U.S. citizens of European descent who have to leave what they call "our continent."

Again I say, deport everyone who is not here legally, Everyone. Then we can take that 60+ BILLION we spend every year on supporting them here to putting up a wall, more security or other means and still have cash left over to pay down our national debt. Which btw the freakin' republicans are like crack whores they way they are spending. Can we curb some of that anytime soon?? -Ed
If the government had enough balls to do something here, it would be to enforce the law that would make it a felony for an employer to hire anyone who is in this country illegally. If we actually inforced that....I think that alone would make a major difference.
As far as "stealing" their continent? I didn't steal anything - I hid it. And I'm not telling where.
Posted by: mrs. muddy at March 29, 2006 02:17 PMWhy are there yellow bars across half of this site?
Posted by: mooseboy84 at March 29, 2006 08:21 PMI don't know. I don't see anything myself. I guess the answer depends on what you're drinking.
Anyone else having problems?
Posted by: mrs. muddy at March 29, 2006 09:02 PMHave not I told you that the USA would be taken over by spanish speakers and catholics long before France would be taken over by muslims speaking arab.
Posted by: DF at March 30, 2006 04:48 PMThey'll only take over if we let them. Which we seem to be letting them.
Posted by: Skywalker at March 30, 2006 06:27 PMI dont see the yellow bars now, but on tues i checked in and they were here, and wed again. It was a thick yellow bar covering part of the site, like the frame was off set or some sort or template error. Its gone now, but it was blocking the Leprechaun video, and most of the middle part of the site. It seems to be fixed now.
On the mexican thing, its not feasable to deport them all. But you know its intresting about the field labor, and it ties into ohio. This guy I know from ohio that lived on a farm, used to work in the fields during the summer. I thought it was odd he would do that, because how many white people do you know that actually work the fields? Not farmers, but actual field hands.
I asked did he have any mexicans where he lived and he said no. So in a way, that opened my eyes to the fact that maybe Some people would do these jobs. Now the difference is, he wasnt getting paid minimum wage. The salary was low but its something he did to earn a little money.
I also dont buy that 12 million illegal number, its probably over 20.
Posted by: mooseboy84 at March 31, 2006 05:45 PMActually, give me a days worth of sunscreen and someone trustworthy to watch the kids and I wouldn't mind working out there myself.
Posted by: mrs. muddy at March 31, 2006 08:44 PMMaybe it is because ic ome from a family of farmers, but...I know quite a few white people that work the fields. In fact, I know more white people that work the fields than do hire out.
I've heard numbers anywhere from 10 to 30 million. Part of the problem is we don't know. And that IS the issue. I don't take issue with people coming to this country to work hard. I'm okay with that. I take issue more with the fact that people can just sneak into this country at will: it is a security issue.
The other problem is, if you come here illegally, you're willing to break that law, what other laws are you willing to break?
That was back in the days where some people thought there were WMD in Iraq, France was opposing the iraq war saying it would only bring more terrorism and a civil war.
By the way the civil war has already started now. It is a sad fact, but it is a fact now.
That was 3 years ago.
You people thought France was opposed to the Iraqi war because Saddam financed the ruling party (which it did of course) that iraqis would be so happy to welcome americans and that the iraqi army was very dangerous. You thought the other reason for France Cowardice (Of course it was beyond your grasp that it was just better analysis of the future) was because France was close to being overruned by it's arab population. I told you back then that if some country has a chance to be overruned by immigrants speaking a foreign language and holding a different religion, it was the USA. There's no region in France where arab speakers come even as close to 5% of the population (spanish speakers are about 12% of the US population), and muslims are also about 5% of the population in France, while catholics are about 20% of the US population.
