September 11th was a day I will not forget, working at UUNet/Worldcom in the network operations room we monitored the entire world. That day all we could do was stare into the television someone had brought in on a cart. Those down T1's in Dallas or the customer having trouble with their credit card authorizations in Miami seemed another world away.
As we watched the second plane plow into the trade centers all I could think was "no way in hell is this an accident, we're under attack". How correct I was.
Now if we think we are ready, comes the film United93. A non-glamorous and non-Hollywood type film. With no special effects and with some people such as Ben Sliney playing themselves, it looks as though it was done the right way.
With all families involved giving their blessing it sends the message that this is not your typical Hollywood trash, I encourage all that can handle it to go see it.

Well, I for one will NOT see it. I can't. I will NEVER forget (as none of us will) that day when those evil bastards took thousands of innocent lives.
As a stay at home mom, I will NEVER forget how difficult it was for me to hold myself together for the sake of my child who happened to be very young and home sick from school that day. Trying to hold back my tears and rage. Shivering with fear, anger and pain for all those lost, praying under my breath and then having to hold enough of a still voice together to tell my child, "It's ok, baby. Yes, I know mommy's crying. There's alot of hurt people on the tv right now but, it's going to be ok. Go in your room and play.".
I didn't share that to sound dramatic but only to share how *I* remember that day and how much I resented as a parent being forced into a possission where I had to protect and shield my childs emotions and mental state when I could barely hold mine together.
Never Forget!
