Not really, yet.
Seems advertisers are hacked that we don't want to watch their stupid commercials.
Really, how many people watch TV (outside of the Superbowl) for the commercials?
I don't know anyone.
So the fact that crappywood (my pet name for hollywood) and it's pundits are pushing for, of all things making it a law you have to watch commercials, seems a bit like socialism than capitalism.
From TechSpot News
Really this speaks volumes about the sad, sad condition our country is in, doesn't it?
As a proud long time MythTV user I happily skip ads, I also skip them live, I get enough lies at work all day I don't need them being pumped into my house.

Posted by: muddy at August 11, 2006 07:31 AMActually there are a few commercials that I find cute and/or funny. Few.
They can't *force* anyone to watch anything. Besides, one of the reasons I even walk away from commercials is because I still have the "climax" of the last scene of the show I was watching in my head and I hate my show being interrupted. On kind of a side note, I think American tv should do what English tv does (at least, I think this is what they do over there). Show all the commercials right before or right after the show. that way it won't be interrupted.
