It may not seem all that big a deal to the average joe, but to me it's huge.
Editing down Steelers games that are covered by KDKA is a nightmare. Unlike normally NFL games that are produced by seasoned network people, pre-season games are covered by both teams local folks.
KDKA seems to me to be the worst.
That being said I'm editing the game and hope to start processing it tonight.
Rejoice!
Vikings @ Steelers 1st Half is now complete and ready for your enjoyment.

Muddy,
Yea KDKA is really bad this year. The fade-in from commercial to the game looks like tv from the 70's.
If you can't get your cap of the game right I did post my cap of the vikings game friom my replaytv.
The file is a mpeg2 half D1 (252x480). I have always been impressed with the hardware encoder
on the replaytv.

I also hope to post game this year with audio from the Steelers Radio Network

I've just made ready the 1st half, 640x480 full ntsc rez in Xvid and MP3 audio.
It's big full 1.55G, but to make it smaller I'd have to reduce the video size.
For some reason I get no audio in stupid Windows Media Player with this file, but the Cardinals game was fine. Any tips on another player to use?

I'd suggest http://www3.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/ or http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
That did the trick, thanks!
