With my Steelers off for their bye week I used that time to upgrade my workstation to Gentoo Linux (was Gentoo before, just an older install) with a new raid 1 setup on two Seagate 160G SATA drives.
Also powered down the mythtv box (used to cap Steelers games) and reconfigured the cooling, since the cpu had cooked in the oven it was. Removed the crappy little 80mm fan on the side of the box and cut two new holes at the top directly over the mobo and installed two 120mm fans. In addition to wiping out the Gentoo install on that and adding a larger hard drive it's a brand new install of Gentoo and mythtv.
Took a little time to get the bugs worked out, but seems to be working solid now.
For all those wondering, the Steelers caps are 100% micro$oft free.
Also note, since the Steelers play late, the 1st half will not be posted until the morning (Monday).
