AP: CENTCOM to Call Out Fake "Burned Alive" Source Tomorrow

Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 5:16 PM

Via Pajamas Media, LGF has word that CENTCOM and Iraqis are planning to address the Capt. Jamil Hussein matter tomorrow:

Sir:

I have just learned from Mr. Costlow, mentioned below, that Brig. Gen. Abdul-Karim Khalaf, the official Ministry of Interior spokesmen, will begin his regularly scheduled press conference at noon tomorrow with a statement that Capt. Jamil Hussein, is not a Baghdad police officer or an MOI employee.

See Dub points out that the AP, in its rewritten "burned alive" story, implied that the blog storm set off by questions about Hussein might have been, umm, encouraged by a P.R. company paid to represent the American military.

The dispute comes at a time when the military is taking a more active role in dealing with the media.

The AP reported on Sept. 26 that a Washington-based firm, the Lincoln Group, had won a two-year contract to monitor reporting on the Iraq conflict in English-language and Arabic media outlets.

That contract succeeded one held by another Washington firm, The Rendon Group. Controversy had arisen around the Lincoln Group in 2005 when it was disclosed that it was part of a U.S. military operation to pay Iraqi newspapers to run positive stories about U.S. military activities.

Interesting, fake anti-U.S. news in the media?
Hrmmm...

Who care about the pathetic acts of those pushing their own propaganda. The truth is in the iraqi bodies piling up. And it spells a big "YOU BUSH WILL GO TO HELL AND SO WILL ALL THOSE THAT VOTED FOR YOU."

You better start praying because the US administration now has a huge responsability in the death of innocents and this administration was elected by US citizens, so all US citizens bear responsability for the acts they allowed this administration to perpetrate.

No. The terrorists setting off bombs have responsibility for those deaths.

Next time I let meat in the war hot summer and eat it without cooking, I'll blame germs for my being sick and not my stupid behavior handing the meat to them.

THE USA have done tons of stuff that have helped unleash sectarian violence in Iraq. This civil war was bound to happen following their illegal invasion war and yet they waged that war. So they bear responsability. And that was only the start, after that they encouraged sectarian parties, they went wishy washy one day attacking Sadr, the other letting him kill sunnis ... Etc. Etc. In the end there is a civil war under a US occupation, there was no civil war before the US occupation and hundre thousands of innocent civilians are dead and tens of thousands of irakis have been turned into killers and terrorists stuff they would also have rather not done if they had had the choice. But once the opposite side comes killing your neighbours, your family ... We now have a tragedy and its pathetic to see how you US citizens try to escape your responsability for it. You were so proud of toppling Saddam, well saddam did less damage to irakis in al his years of ruling than the USA in 3 years.
So ?
