Iran threatens Europe

TEHRAN - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday issued a stern warning to Europe amid new moves to agree sanctions over Iran's nuclear programme, saying such "hostility" could endanger relations with the continent.

Ahmadinejad accused Europe of not just wanting to ensure that Iran's nuclear drive was peaceful but of seeking to thwart the entire programme, in a speech to cheering supporters as he kicked off a tour of Mazandaran province.

"If you (Europeans) continue making efforts to halt the progress of the Iranian nuclear programme and if you take any step against the Iranian nation's rights, either in propaganda or international bodies, the Islamic republic will consider this an act of hostility.

"And if you continue with this, the Iranian nation will revise the direction of its path and its plans related to you," he added in the speech broadcast on state television.

President Tom is not just nuts, he's also making nukes. Now if that don't scream preemptive strike I don't know what does.

I hope Iran will get nukes. The only way the middle east problem can be solved now is through a military defeat from Israel. The only way for one country to defeat Israel is by getting the nuclear bomb, so let's give the bomb to Iran.

Or let's force Israel to withdraw from the occupied territories, but if THE USA keep on supporting Israel in its illegal occupation of those territories by israelites, then there's no better way to end this than by letting the iran government getting the bomb.

Bush has been nuts for long and has had access to the worse military arsenal ever, nobody ever dared strike the US prevemptively however. Bet it's because everybody's so scared of the counter strike.

This is why no one is going to strike Iran. It would make things worse in Iraq and liban, and China and Russia would jump to the rescue.

If something can be done now it is by twisting israeli arms so that they finally comply with UNO resolutions and by funding the reformators in Iran who are in the opposition to ahmenidjad.
Any form of military attack on Iran would prove a disaster of greater magnitude than Iraq, and given the nightmare that Iraq is now, ... that would mean a big big disaster.
