Terrorism Alert in France

TERRORISM ALERT IN FRANCE -- (AP, UPI) Yesterday, the French Government
announced that it has raised its terror alert level from RUN to HIDE.

The only two higher levels of their terror alert are SURRENDER and
COLLABORATE. The heightened alert was precipitated by the recent fire
which destroyed the French White Flag factory, effectively disabling their military.

Happy Voting Iraq!

iraqvote.jpg

Head to the polls and show America how it's done, our pitiful 40-50% turn out will be overshadowed by your will to be free. Walk into those voting places with your head held high knowing that you are at last free people.
Now all that's left is to kill those filthy terrorists pouring in from the surrounding countries.

France Mad Cow.. or is it "Irritated Cow" Disease

Mad Cow Disease Detected In Goat For First Time

"If it's in a goat.. should it not be called mad goat disease?"

A goat in France that was slaughtered in 2002 had mad cow disease, or bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), the European Union confirmed.

The positive test results were announced Friday by the EU more than two years after testing the remains of the French goat. Scientists initially believed the goat was infected with scrapie, a disease in the BSE family.

Consuming contaminated products from animals infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), has been scientificly linked to variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) in humans.

Tracker Update/Steelers Games

After noticing a few days ago that everyone is leaching and virtually nobody is sharing the games they download from me the Steelers games have halted. It's dense to think my crappy connection can feed 40-50 people all the time. Someone needs to step up and share the bandwidth load or it's lights out forever for the games.

:-P

Numb

superbowl716_lower.jpg
Under 3 min to go and the Patsies just scored again... I can't take anymore.

I don't know if Ben's thumb is hurt or not but he played like poo 85% of the game.
Our run game was ineffective and our D decided to take it easy today or something else besides shutting down the opposing offense.

Now we'll be far down the draft order and won't get jack for a pick.

Thanks everyone for the biggest letdown season ever.

15-1 and getting beat AGAIN at home in the AFCC game.
This has got to be the 2nd worst day of my life as a Steeler fan, of course the superbowl Neil O'Donnell was paid off to throw away will always be the 1st.
I really don't understand Cowher's in ability to win AT HOME!, the AFCC game... it eludes me.
How do you put the smack down on a team in week 8 and 10 weeks later get your ass handed to you by them, how??

As for Skywalkers Falcons... I feel you pain bro, I feel you pain.

The Big Dance is Today

towels.jpg
Ok boys and girls, the Big Dance is today. As the Patsies come into the Burgh to face off against the Men of Steel! Get your Terrible Towels out and let em' rip for this one, or just yell at the TV if you can. I predict the Patsies will fall flat on this one, the Superbowl is going to be the Falcons and Steelers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hope Ben Roethlisberger is the missing piece to help them avoid another AFC Championship Game loss when they host the Patriots in a showdown between the teams with the NFL's best records.

The contest is a rematch of the AFC Championship Game following the 2001 season, when New England went into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers 24-17. The Patriots then stunned the St. Louis Rams 20-17 to win their first of two Super Bowl titles in three years.

U.N. funds terror

The former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations says the global body, through several of its agencies, is funding terrorist organizations.

Citing documents captured by Israeli Defense Force personnel, Ambassador Dore Gold says funds flowed from the United Nations Development Program, or UNDP, to two leading Hamas front organizations.

In a column slated to be published today in the Wall Street Journal, Gold said donations of between $4,000 and $10,000 went to the Tulkarm Charity Committee and the Jenin District Committee for Charitable Funds.

"Receipts and even copies of thank you notes to UNDP were discovered," he writes.

Jets Hand Steelers Win

3326390_7_2.jpg
To prove the point that Defense does win games, the Pittsburgh Steelers "D" poured it on and kept the Jets offense to only 3 points.
Big Ben looked like confused little kid Ben for most of the game. I think it's something about those Jets that gets to him. Perhaps he has a fear of green?
The Jets came into this game claiming how they were going to pound the Steelers into nothing and move on to the AFC Championship game... someone should of told their kicker Doug Brien to have such confidence.
After missing the game winning field goal in the final minutes of the game and then the winning field goal in overtime he really needs a hug. (or fired)
I know the stadium in Pittsburgh is not kind to kickers but missing TWO winning kicks is not acceptable.

Torture? Not if cheerleaders do it, lawyer claims

Muddy's Note: While many seem to think this was torture, it was not.

1 a : anguish of body or mind : AGONY b : something that causes agony or pain
2 : the infliction of intense pain (as from burning, crushing, or wounding) to punish, coerce, or afford sadistic pleasure

Now wearing panties on your head or lying naked in a pile is down right embarrassing, but not torture.
These are terrorists, not the good hard working people of Iraq we're talking about here. Would you object to this kind of "treatment" for lets say a gang of thugs who rapes and murders your family ??
I think not.

Oh on a side not this attorney is a complete dumb*** for thinking this argument will do anything but get him disbarred.

Forcing naked Iraqi prisoners to pile themselves in human pyramids was not torture, because American cheerleaders do it every year, a court was told today.

A lawyer defending Specialist Charles Graner, who is accused of being a ringleader in the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal, argued that piling naked prisoners in pyramids was a valid form of prisoner control.

"Don’t cheerleaders all over America form pyramids six to eight times a year. Is that torture?" said Guy Womack, Sergeant Graner’s lawyer, in opening arguments to the ten-member military jury at the reservist’s court martial.

I'm back from training

trip1.png
Hello World!

I'm back from my trip and it was so beautiful I did not want to come back home.

I took off from Port Columbus International Airport on Monday and just got back late last night. Flying out of rainy Columbus was interesting as it was my first commercial flight. (I've been up in a Grumman Tiger before this) I must say that the Embraer 135 jet I flew back and forth on was essentially a school bus with wings. :-/

We flew into RDU (Raleigh/Durham) and grabbed our trendy PT Cruiser and off we went. Residing during the week at the palatial Residence Inn. I was a bit put out by the fact the desk clerk explicitly said no loud parties during our stay. I mean.. why did I bring all my dj equipment and lighting equipment if we could not party? (j/k)

Ok back to reality. The place was real nice.
I'll be posting up many pics from the trip in the next few days so stay tuned.

America's Charity

This is a nice article for certain people who like to cry about how we spend more of our GDP on our military than on foreign aid (every though in hard dollars we give more than any other country on earth.)

Enjoy.

Watching Steelers Games How-to

Ok I'll take care of all the questions from everyone in one shot.

Here we go.

1. get a bit torrent client, I like Azureus myself but use what you are comfortable with.

2. download the .torrent file from my tracker for the games you want.

3. wait... wait.. wait and wait some more (if you want a faster download purchase me a T1).

4. (for winders users) download the Koepi XviD plugin and after it's done installing double click the avi file and watch the game. (for smart linux users :-D) use Mplayer to watch the games

5. Have some kindness and Leave the games up (on the bit torrent client) for at least a few days so others can enjoy them.
