Global warming is real, and can be felt everywhere.
Science has not made a correlation between global warming and storms. You can check the website on hurricanes and it's written in plain, so far there's no knowledge on this subject.
There is a consensus right now that global warming is caused by human activities and especially the release of carbon dioxyde. That view may be challenged in the future.
However this does not change a thing to the fact that temperatures are indeed warming, quite fast and with self evident consequences.
It's like evolution. Evolution is a fact. You may discuss the reasons explaining the fact (natural selection, initial or on going design), not the fact.
So far and on the basis of the knowledge available it is wiser to try to limit carbon dioxyde emissions, and bush is criminal for not doing anything.

You can blame W bush for not doing anything for energy conservation without even mentionning global warming.

I don't think that believing that there were no WMD in Iraq was negative.
I m not sure that believing that global warming is caused by humans is more negative than if it's caused by natural cycles. After all if it's caused by humans we can do sth about it, if it is caused by solar activity or other causes, we can do little.
